Bodega Superior (“we”, “our”, “us”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173), its Implementing Rules and Regulations, and the issuances of the National Privacy Commission (NPC). This notice explains what personal information we collect on this website, why we collect it, how we use it, and the rights you have as a data subject.

2. What personal information we collect
We only collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us, namely:
- Information you submit through the contact form on this site: your name, email address, type of enquiry (retail, wholesale, event), and the contents of your message.
- Information you provide if you call or email us directly (e.g. name, contact details, delivery address for trade clients).
We do not require you to create an account, and we do not collect sensitive personal information (e.g. health, religion, government IDs) through this website. We do not run third-party advertising tracking, retargeting pixels, or behavioural profiling on this site.
3. Why we collect your information (purpose & lawful basis)
We process your personal information for the following purposes:
- To respond to your enquiry, prepare quotations, and arrange orders or deliveries.
- To manage commercial relationships with hotel, resort and restaurant trade partners.
- To send transactional communications (e.g. order confirmations, replies to your messages).
- To comply with applicable Philippine laws, including tax, accounting and consumer-protection rules.
The lawful basis for processing is your consent (given when you submit the contact form with the consent box ticked) and the performance of a contract (when you place a wholesale or retail order with us).
4. How long we keep your information
We retain enquiry messages for up to twenty-four (24) months from your last interaction, after which they are deleted unless we are required to keep them longer under tax, accounting or consumer-protection laws. Order records and invoicing information are retained for the period required by Philippine tax law (currently up to ten (10) years from the date of the transaction).
5. Who we share your information with
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We share information only with the following categories of recipients, and only to the extent necessary:
- FormSubmit (formsubmit.co) — the third-party form-delivery service we use to receive enquiries you submit through the website. It forwards the contents of the contact form to our email inboxes and does not retain your data beyond what is needed for delivery.
- Email and hosting providers we use to operate the website and reply to your messages.
- Logistics partners we engage for trade and concierge deliveries on Panglao and Bohol.
- Government authorities, when required by Philippine law (e.g. BIR, Bureau of Customs).
All processors we engage are bound by data-processing agreements that align with RA 10173 standards.
6. International transfers
Some of our service providers (e.g. email hosting) may store data on servers outside the Philippines. Where this is the case, we ensure that comparable safeguards are in place so that the level of protection of your personal information is not diminished.
7. Your rights as a data subject

8. Security of your information
We apply reasonable organisational, physical and technical measures to protect personal information from loss, misuse and unauthorised access. Access to your data is limited to staff who need it to respond to your enquiry or fulfil your order.
9. Cookies
This website uses only the strictly necessary technical storage required for the site to function (for example, to remember that you have confirmed you are of legal age, so you are not asked again on every visit). We do not use third-party advertising or analytics cookies.
10. Children
This website is intended for adults 21 years of age and above (our house policy is stricter than the Philippine statutory minimum of 18). We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
11. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page indicates when the latest changes were made. Material changes will be notified to you where we have your contact details and where required by law.
